A private sector bank in Kerala with the name as South Indian Bank was founded in 1929 which is also the earliest bank of South India. Its head office is located at Thrissur [ Kerala ]. At present, it has 750 branches with 750 ATMs. It is the very first bank which has opened a Currency Chest in India. This bank has been registered by SEBI as Self Certified Syndicate Bank for accepting application under Application Supported by Blocked Amount .
In order to meet business requirements, experienced candidates having relevant experience and qualification in banking institution are required by South Indian Bank for the post of Probationary clerks for a probation period of 6 months. For this only Indian Nationals are eligible and can apply latest by 24th December 2011. Mode of application is online only. Selected candidates will get placements in any of the offices of SIB in Tamil Nadu and Kerala states. After registration, candidates has to send the printout of the application form latest by 31st December 2011.
Total 400 posts are available for Probationary Clerks.Eligibility: For this positions, candidates age should be between 20-26 years as on 30th September 2011. Graduation in the regular course of 10+2+3 pattern with minimum 50% marks in science stream and at least 45% marks in any other stream is the minimum qualification required. Beside this, candidates should also be proficient in computer operations.
Salary: Selected candidates will get total emolument of Rs. 15000/- per month under the pay scale of Rs. 7200-19300/- with other allowances.
Selection will be through written test which is going to be held on 29th January 2012 at Thrissur, Ernakulum, Thiruvananthapuram, Kozhikode, Chennai and Coimbatore. After this, shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
