The Kerala Public Service Commission has cancelled the examination conducted for the post of Higher Secondary School teacher - Economics (Junior &Senior) and Vocational Higher Secondary School teacher - Economics.
The examination which was conducted as a common test on February 16 this year was widely criticized after it was found that several questions asked in the examination were lifted from a guide published by a private firm.PSC officials were forced to cancel the examination. The date of new examination would be announced later.
Earlier the KPSC cancelled the examination conducted for the post HSST Computer Science / computer application. The date of new examination not yet published.

I think PSC has to come up with some good plans to avoid such situations. PSC has to make some review board, who can review the questions too. Also PSC has to make sure that the question paper makers are not favouring to any publishers.

We need to propose the process for all the activities happening at goverment level and publish the same for the pubilic, so that people can know that what & how things are happening behind.
PSC has to device an automated system to administer all the jobs. In my opinion this automated system may include both human and system ( Expert systems with inference mechanism ) .For each subject domain PSC must appoint a subject core committee to build a huge database . Using Expert System , SIRI like feature randomly select or set three different question papers . Again it can dynamically select one out of three.
PSC has to minimize the human intervention in the final stages of question framing by having this sort of mechanism.
