NICL (National Insurance Company) Syllabus and Patterns of exam for Assistants Recruitment. This year onward there is a combined exam for recruitment of assistants with all the general Insurance companies i.e. National Insurance Co.Ltd, Oriental Insurance Co.Ltd, The New India Assurance Co. Ltd, United India Insurance Co. Ltd.
There will be a combined written exam for the recruitment of Assistants with following subjects. Written exam conducted will be an objective test. There will be 5 subject section in written exam for NICLIn advertisement they have mentioned question paper pattern similar to IBPS exams.The sections are same and marks distribution is also same.The time is 120 min compared to 150 min in IBPS.I have produced the information below for your reference.We will be using this to make your exam plan

General Insurance company assistant written test complexity will be more or less same as that of IBPS clerk.You can download above papers to practice.The papers have questions of different complexity.Some of them are easy and some very tough.So solving them will boost your confidence.You can expect similar questions or questions less in complexity than in above downloaded paper.
You can also read newspaper or watch news channel to prepare General Awareness section.There are many magazines in market which give detailed information about current affairs.For example if your exam is in July then exam paper is set two months before that.This mean current affairs before June will be in exam paper.So you should read those magazines of that period.
You can also solve IBPS clerk test series or books to prepare for General Insurance companies assistant exam.It should be quite helpful.
